State of MCP census, the backfile

Delisted servers

148 servers have left the official MCP registry since our first census. Each keeps its page as a dated record: when it was first seen, when it was last seen, and the verdict it carried when it went.

A registry only publishes what it lists today. Anyone can copy that in an afternoon. What cannot be copied later is what it listed and stopped listing, and this set exists only because we hold the earlier censuses: 4 of them so far, against the 31538 servers in the 2026-09-13 census.

The registry publishes no removal date, so each server is dated by the census that first did not contain it, which is when we observed the absence rather than when it happened.

Last verdict before they went: 9 dead, 35 degraded, 104 healthy. Most were working when they disappeared, so this is mostly not a record of servers dying; it is a record of them being withdrawn.
